Coastal Volunteers in Medicine (CVIM) is pleased to announce the appointment of Lesley-Anne Caporelli as its new Executive Director, effective November 1, 2026.

With more than 30 years of experience in healthcare operations and leadership, Lesley-Anne brings extensive knowledge and expertise to CVIM. Her professional background includes leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson and Novartis, where she managed large teams, oversaw budgets, and supported healthcare operations on a global scale.
After spending much of her career helping bring medicines to patients around the world, Lesley-Anne is now bringing her experience closer to home.
A resident of Lacey Township, she is passionate about making a difference in her own community and contributing to an organization dedicated to improving access to healthcare for those who need it most.
A New Chapter for CVIM
Lesley-Anne joins Coastal Volunteers in Medicine during an exciting time for the organization, following its recent move back to Manahawkin and the establishment of its new clinic.
As Executive Director, she will work alongside CVIM's Board of Trustees, dedicated volunteers, medical professionals, and staff to strengthen the organization's mission of providing free, high-quality primary healthcare to uninsured members of the Ocean County community.
During her first weeks, Lesley-Anne plans to focus on listening, learning, and building relationships with the individuals who make CVIM's work possible. She looks forward to spending time at the clinic and meeting the volunteers, staff, community partners, and supporters who have helped shape the organization.
