Board Vice-Chairperson

Jay Greco is one of the first board members of Coastal Volunteers in Medicine.  He holds a BS degree in pharmacy from Northeastern University. He moved to New Jersey from Boston and worked for many chain pharmacies until he realized that he wanted to own his own pharmacy, so he opened and owned Medicap Pharmacy in Barnegat from 1999 to 2007. After moving on from Medicap, he opened several pharmacies, including one that serviced nursing homes. His current pharmacy is Jersey Shore Pharmacy which is located at 580 N Main St, Barnegat, NJ 08005. He is active in the community sponsoring events and local team sports, and is also a preceptor at the University of the Sciences. He is a member of NJPHA and APHA, as well as many other pharmacy organizations. He is honored to be associated with such a great group of volunteers trying to bridge the gap in health care.
